Has anyone ever gone here before/ how is it?

I am back in CNY for a little while and looking for things to do.

Highland forst is good.  There is a huge chunk of state land west of there very close by called Morgan hill.  Lots of trails to explore there.  Go to the Bike Loft on south bay road in north syracuse and talk to those guys about where to ride.
