The '09 version is a really sick park ski, it just depends on how they will hold up.  The flex, sidecut and stability are awesome.  It just stinks that many pairs end up having structural issues.  Some don't but lots do.

I have the 08s with the wood core and loooove them. I only wish they had stayed stiffer. They softened up a lot. But they are still poppy, and they held up amazinly well. Only one little edge crack, and the topsheets are pristine.

I haven't rode a lot of park skis but the first expensive pair ive ever owned were the 08 dumonts and i rode them everywhere and loved them; especially in the park. 08's have perfect flex, pop, durablity, low swing-weight and absorb the hardest of landings - those pulse pads and slanted sidewalls rly do work - so you can go super big; like the man himself. Def my favorite skis ever and highly recommended, + an amazing deal at their now price.
