Nikon D90 Vs. Canon 50d

Hey,
so Im looking at getting either a 50d or D90 and I cant make up my mind. Im leaning a little towards the 50d but i want to make sure im making the right choice. Is there any major difference between the two.
Keep in mind I have a video camera so I would never use the HD video on the D90.

I'd go with the 50D, faster auto-focus, more frames per second, and more megapixels=win

will have to take into account the new nikon d5000 now too it also has a cheaper retail than both the d90 and 50d

50, it's alot faster, better processor, better screen in the back, better build quality (with the d90 you can faintly hear a spring echoing when the shutter releases, with the 50d all you hear is a crisp snapping, like two coconuts clopping together), plus if canon had 1080 hd video in the new rebel why waste your money on something that only shoots 720?

I prefer nikon boddies
allthouughh Canon makes 70-200 F/4 is usm lenses and are affordable for a fixed aperture lens that is a big win for me.. although I already own a nikon and several lenses :(
