06 Chronic Wide, 187cm (actually measures about 183). 87mm waist, medium flex, mounted once for a 335mm sole with PX12tis. I have barely used them since I got them because they were meant to be backups for my 05 Pollards, which are the exact same ski (I have yet to find a better ski to ride switch on), but the Pollards are still going strong after all this time. $200 plus shipping, including bindings (which are also as-new).

Dont mean to rag on your sale but the skis arent really a medium flex. If anything they are on the stiffer end. Still bomb proof skis though holy shit I cant believe mine look better than my blends from this year. These skis would be so money for someone looking for a ski that would do anything though.

2005 EP Pro is the same ski as 2006 Chronic Wide.

It was not that long ago that the fattest pow ski you could reasonably buy was 86mm. Now, 86 counts as midfat. I have skiied the 05 EP (again, same ski) in waist deep, in fact I originally bought them partly so I could deal with pow stashes in tight trees better because at the time I had 1st gen JP Juliens, which didn't turn very much. Then I discovered that the EPs were really good at everything (and spectacular for skiing switch) so wanted to have the C-wides for that inevitable day when the EPs died and I would no longer have a versatile ski to do everything with. Except the EPs didn't die, they're still in good shape. So I have barely used these.

So yes, they are good for all mountain. If I was in the east I imagine they would be my everyday ski.

I have the 90 mm waist blends, pretty similar ski dimension and flex wise. Super bomber, and great for an all montian east coaster.

how long have you been freeskiing?

though the definition of wide has changed drasticlly over the past 5 years, these are still somewhat wide skis. and thats there name. cronic wide (cause they also made a skinnier version)

It's easy to forget how much the base of the sport has grown recently; there are a lot of people in it that weren't 2-3 years ago. Still it's funny to hear people talk about how a mid 80s waist is too narrow for pow. People used to charge AK on narrower than these and that wasn't that long ago. This is definitely an all mountain ski.

Same goes for flex actually. In the grand scheme of things these are not stiff skis. They're just a bit stiffer than most of the twins put out nowadays.
