I'm gonna have to say claim. If you appreciate real skiing... well then that's the movie you should buy. There's a lot of gnarly big mountain in it and a lot of BC shots... but also some good jump segments like PK and Colby. Massive is good too, but it's all raggae pow skiing. Both are good movies.
I thought both were really good, Claim had a lot of nice big mountain riding and McConkey's part was just classic shane. Massive was great too, really highlighted the tree skiing in the northwest.
its worth getting claim just to see shane's last part ever. but claim was a huge disappointment, especially for park style stuff. colby had like 5 tricks in his whole part, same with jacob but he had a lot of different angles of the same trick. even pk didnt have that many. plus i dont think there was a single rail in that whole movie. the massive had a good mix of everything, and really cool mini golf lines. the big mountain stuff in claim was badass though
reasons was my favourite for sure but turbo was good aswell. For thread creator... if you have already seen massive then buy it if you thought it was awesome but if not get claim
to clarify why i didn't like them that much
Claim: Far too much BC it got extremely boring and there was minimal park. Shane's, Colby's, Jacob's and Sean Pettit's segments were the only ones I really liked.
The Massive: I got bored of watching the same people over and over there wasn't a ton of diversity. I mean I like those guys but I found the movie was just trying to glorify T-Hall too much. The balance of Big Mountain, BC and Jib was much better than Claim though
if you like watching only huge lines and like one or two park segments then choose claim. personaly i thought it sucked.
The massive ont the other hand has everything. lots of tree skiing, some big AK lines dope cliffs, backcountry jumps urbans, incredible shots and even a little story.
In conclusion. The Massive FTW
