Dr. NS: Big nasty blister

I got a big nasty blister on my hand from a burn.

I know you're not supposed to pop them, but whats the best way to make it heal quick?  It's kinda annoying to have it on my knuckle and really gross looking.

I almost barfed. That is gross. I have a smaller version of that on my pinky and it wont go away. But you should just google "how to get rid of big nasty blisters" and see what happens.

but what's wrong with popping them? i always pop my blisters especially ones of that magnitude

i would pop it and then hydrogen peroxide and then neosporin w/ a band aid.

gonna have to go with what i do...
1. pop it with a needle
2. drain liquid out
3. bactine or something to make sure it doesnt get infected

do no peel the skin away. just poke a hole in it and drain it (you may have to do this the next day also)
the skin goes back down if you leave it alone and it will harden like a callus. at this point you may pick it or leave it. the skin underneath will not be raw like if you just peeled it off immediately after peeling it.

you should pop it, steralize it with hydrogen peroxide, but dont bandage it at all. for quickest healing results let it dry out. and leave the extra skin on it until the underskin is dry to help prevent infection. works every time

keep it and poke a little hole in it, then when you see someone you dont like press down on it a squirt them  in the face with blister juice.... i know for a fact it can be done and it is just about the funniest thing on the face of the earth

sorry for double post but c'mon dont be a fuckin pussy and boil or heat up the needle. just fuckin pop it with some tweezers or some shit. infection with a pin prick is highly unlikely

pop it with a needle , drain it, put hydrogren proxide on it, put new-skin on it(it will sting like a bitch but it will keep it clean, super glue also works)

Heat up a needle, pop it, hydrogen peroxide that bitch, then squirt some saline solution (visine or eye drops) and it'll dry out quick and it won't hurt after. Works awesome, used to do it riding mx.. nasty blisters all over your hands.
