If you don't have doubt one way or another, then your view is distorted. Even if you are uncertain, you are still guaranteed to be wrong when the time comes.
its like saying it, but its not saying it. its saying something completely different. Considering the small percentage of land that you "know" on planet earth, and the infinitely small portion of the universe that our earth takes up, and you being 1 person out of 7 billion equally uninformed points of view, I would say its safe to say you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to matters of God.
God Damnit! (pun maybe intended) I tried to stay out of this thread.
I can't stand when people say this shit. No offense to you, dear spaniard. As already stated, the bible is pretty damn clear that it was a day. No more. That was accepted as fact by Christians for thousands of years. Then science progressed to the point where it started fucking shit up. In the past hundred years or so Christians have scrambled to cover up the holes and to fix their beliefs. Some are now the bass ackwards fools that stick to the 7000 year or whatever Earth theory , the others are the ones that say, "well uh..ummm who's to say we know what God's time is." or "well maybe god planned evolution". In effect, some have almost completely changed the original stories of their religion into something entirely different. Why cling to that old shit. As more and more questions are answered, religion's grip loosens. The time of "gods" is almost up. Before humanity understood the sun, they assumed it was a god pulling a flaming chariot across the sky. Now, there is essentially only one great mystery left (the beginning) and even that will be explained. The past has shown us that all religions eventually fall. Goodbye Jesus.
PS. to the ones who do believe. What the fuck has God done that is on record somewhere other than the bible? And again, some people now see him as the loving watcher who only observes. dont give me that shit, because that isnt the god in the bible, your most holy book.
/end attack on the christian church/religion as a whole.
Faith in your partner, your fellow men, your friends, is very important, because without it there's no mutual component to your relationship, and relationships are important. So faith plays an important role, but faith in people you don't know, faith in religious or political leaders or even people on stages, people who are popular in the public eye, you shouldn't have faith in those people. You should listen to what they have to say and use it.
