Replying to The New Guy

Hey Everyone,

Been coming to this site for month or so and finally decided to create an account. This season was a big change for me because after snowboarding for 14 years I decided I was over it and came back to skiing (I skied for 8 years from age 4-12). Anyways, I think this site is rad and is actually how I came to a decision on my new set up for skis. However, sucks that I won't get to use my new skis till next season because of my season ending tib/fib fracture a month ago, FUCK. The conditions were a little wet and I thought I needed more speed going into a 30ft table and I could not have been more wrong hahaha. But I recently bought some Marker Griffons with Line Octoland Anthems (would have had the spirals but there was a deal and I bought the 161 spirals and in further reading on here found that the 171cm skis are probably a better fit and they were out of 171 spirals). Well enough of the life story, I am looking forward to next season and skiing full time and I will continue to bask in the valley of knowledge that is newschoolers.com
