30 years 90 years whats the difference it killed 20,000,000 people thats a lot. they created a vaccine in 1976 which also lead to man more sick people and some deaths.
I bet the Egyptians wish they realized that Swine flu is not from pigs before the killed every pig in the country. That was the biggest possible overreaction.
also, 400 people get swine flu and the news is in an uproar, but theres millions of people out there who are HIV+ or have AIDS and that isn't an issue apparently.
swine flu = media creating panic for something that isn't really that big of a deal. they're saying it has a lower fatality rate than most flu strains, including the common flu. most deaths have been in either mexico or have been elderly or young kids. mexico (and i'm not being racist at all) has substandard healthcare in many areas and the elderly and young kids are always at higher risk than adults of dying of any illness.
Swine flu has nothing to do with pigs, it's a misnomer and because of it the media has caused a huge decline in pork production and those companies are just going to go under. It's just what our great economy needs, more reasons for economic decline. It's the H1N1 strain of the flu, it has nothing to do with pork or anything like that.
"WHO said this week that the disease "has not been shown to be
transmissible to people through eating properly handled and prepared
pork (pig meat) or other products derived from pigs." "
We convinced a girl during lunch that two people who were gone, were gone with the swine flu. For the rest of lunch she sat alone with her shirt covering her mouth. She went to bed thinking that we wouldn't have school the next day.
