well if youd said that to me when i first heard the song then id say yeah i take that back. BUT due to that song being the most over played song in the history of the universe now i think that everyone just goes oh yeah crookers are SOO sick cos they have heard that one song. but really as far as electro a lot of their remixs arent great and their original songs arent either. Dont get me wrong i like some of the stuff they are doing but most of it is kind of a miss.

No. Do you like the song Embrace The Martian by Kid Cudi? Because they produced that. They also happen to be one of the biggest European electro-house acts currently.

The crookers do suck though. They ruined that kid cudi song day and night, with their crappy synths, played bass, and by changing the pitch of the lyrics. They are terrible, and that remix above of the salmon dance, what a joke!

The crookers remix to day and night is terrible. That song isnt supposed to be an upbeat techno song.

I absolutely love both versions.

The original song exemplifies the stresses and loneliness we face day to day, and the ways we deal with it all.

The Crookers mix takes the song and again shows the kind of person mentioned in the first song but they go on the funny things you can come up when you let your mind go it's own route.

Looking between the two, I can see a mellow way of coping with day-to-day (the original), and I can see a creative approach to the daily grind.

Does that make any sense?

They didn't change the pitch of the lyrics, produced a song on Cudi's mixtape, AND he cosigned obviously as he is in the OFFICIAL Crookers remix video.

Not pitch as in notes, but the pitch as in dj pitch when you speed it up by moving the pitch down, and I am almost positive they have sped up the lyrics. Is this song just out in America, cause it's been out for a couple of months on the radio and shit is soooooo annoying already. The original pisses all over this crappy remix.

how can some of you hate on crookers? they are fucking ridiculous. they have a sounds that many will try and mimic in the next few years. crookers and the bloody beetroots fuck shit up. just cause you hear one of crookers mixes, which is overplayed and not even their best song, you aautomatically think they suck? come on.

I've been living in England now for the past 5 years now, and let me tell you that if anything they are mimicking others music. The dance music scene is much bigger over here than what you have and believe me there are sooooooooooooooo, sooooooooo many better groups than the crookers. So maybe it was you who was far too quick to judge, eh?

About 2 hours outside of London, in a city called Bristol, which has one of the most amazing music scenes anywhere in England/arguably even the world.

As for groups/artists better than the Crookers, EVERYONE on the ninja tune label, krafty kuts, stanton warriors, ctrl z, napt, fake blood, dekline, wizard, ed solo and skool of thought, hell I would even wager that the bodyrox are better than crookers, and the bodyrox suck.

Not being a dick or anything man, but you really have no idea what you are talking about, because there are soooooo many better dance music artists groups that you probably haven't heard of because that shit isn't that popular in America. You only get the real commercial shit, I know this because I have lived in both countries.

Americans need to stop calling all this types of music electro and techno as there are soooo many different sub categories that a lot of these things fall into, and it just makes us seem soooo ignorant.
