Different substitutes for Concerta

Okay, I am about to start school soon, and I have the WORST ADD in the world, I cant even play video games because as soon as the 360 goes on, im bored. But besides that, I used to take concerta, got amazing grades strait As, bla bla bla. But the problem I, and everyone I knew that took it (prescribed) noticed, was that we were all mad depressed and paranoid. I could barely leave the house to goto school, it made me super anti social and what not.

So I am wondering who is prescribed to anything other then Concerta? What side effects have you noticed? Etc.

adderall is pretty bomb, i have never noticed any of the side effects you mentioned, it actually makes me way more talkative and social. and none of the weird paranoid feeling you had. i have never taken a concerta though so i really cant compare. and it gets shit done in a similar way that you said you felt with concerta, if i start something i cant stop until its finished, its crazy...

Thanks +k for that. I looked at the side effects of adderall and it doesnt have depression or paranoia anywhere on it, where concerta does. I think Im going to stop by my doctors office and try to get samples of focalin, adderall, and some others and see which effects me how and what not

Dude I have a friend who takes concerta and a friend who takes addy's.  They both get really upset when they are craming for an exam and something isn't going there way. I recommend (if possible) using them very liitle, they burn you out and you can become dependednt and turn into skeletor.

Yeah, I was on concerta for ~3 months, the grades were great but I just went cold turkey and enjoyed having Ds and hanging with my friends.

focalin ! its real strong sounds like you need it ... i can handle my drugs and i still only usually take about half a one at a time and thats not alot for a mere stimulant

i duno wat u mean by sketched out but you should try it if you need it .. all drugs effect everyone differently so why not try ... i guess thats good advice ? haha

A lot of kids on NS swear by adderall but it doesn't seem like a long term solution, if you take it regularly for a long period of time I'm pretty sure it can fuck you up. It seems like the kind of thing you take for a week at a time when exams and papers come around.

Not to thread jack but...does anyone know of any similar drug you can get WITHOUT a prescription? Thanks.
