Quick FKS vs. FKX questions

I'm possibly selling my FKX pros to this kid and he asked me me what are the differences between the two bindings. If anyone knows the info would be much apprecited.

Oh and isn't $100 (not including shipping because we live close) for these bindings with one season of racer use a good deal?

it depends. they are virtually the same as fks 120s depending on what din those have. they have a plastic toe with upward release. fks 155s and 185s have an all metal toe with no upward release. so yes they are pretty much the same as fks 120s however the din might be different.

They also have a sliding afd when FKS 120 have a fixed afd.

The FKS120 is the same toepiece as the p12, so it would also be a sliding AFD, unlike the 155/185 which are fixed

great deal. 14 din, same heel and the pivot toe (one of the better ones), and better colors than FKS 120.

literally almost any older turntable binding is just as good as a new pair. my current clamps are both like 10 years old, and in awesome shape. (actually like the older ones to the new ones). 100 bucks is a prime deal right there.

My P12 s have a fixed afd... they are the flat black with white/silver lettering.


Perhaps you are thinking of an older model.  Mine were purchased new in box, so I doubt they had been swapped.

I can't think of the model that you are talking about..anyway my p12s are sliding afd as are any other p12s i've seen

And new update. The kid has yet to get back to me on the bindings, I dont know whats up, but i need these sold to regain some money on the sth 16s i bought. so $115 shipped if anyones interested.
