So I passed out for the first time...

I was in my psych class and we were watching a movie about how to be younger and like plastic surgery and shit. Well our final was going to be right after the movie so I was stressing out a bit (30% of grade). So they are talking to this woman about plastic surgery and shit with her face. Then they start to show the surgery... the doc cut a line from ear to chin and fucking shoved his hand in her face. You could see the entire hand in the woman's face. I started to feel weird and shit, kinda like I was going to puke. Next thing I know, I hear a loud fucking noise. So I take my hands and start like hitting my ears because it scared the shit out of me. I open my eyes and just see a blurry bright light. Turned out to be the projector screen and the noise was the audio. I guess my feet were stomping on the ground and shit. I don't know. Once I woke up, everyone in the room was starring at me and I didn't really knew what happened. It was weird as hell. The shit normally doesn't bother me, like the Saw movies and stuff, but I guess because this is real, it did.

Anyone else have weird stories like this?

You described the feeling well. I pass out a ton when I first get up in the AM (low blood pressure + pissing in the morning some fancy name response its called), last time it happened my pops super glued my eyebrow back together. Shittiest feeling in the world like a minute before you pass out.

not this morning, i went to school to study at like 11am, I had class at 4pm. I really did eat much for breakfast, only 2 egos, and a huge blueberry muffin. However all day, I was not paying attention at all to my hunger because I was studying. I ate dinner at like 7pm, and ate a lot of pasta and garlic bread. I have been poppin' bottles (of water) every hour or so.

Yeah, if your blood sugar kinda low, the shock will spike it down even more.

I am just guessing, but I think it is part of how the body reacts to trauma like that, similar to 'butterflies in your stomach'.  You feel butterflies when your body is under stress and it cuts off circulation to your digestive tract, the blood is then sent to your muscles and you're ready to kick some ass.

Ya for sure. I was so nervous. I couldn't get up because psychically was not able to, incase I needed to run to the bathroom are something. My vision got all fucked up, and didn't really know what was going on. Luckily I was sitting down when it happened.

i happened to me about 3 weeks ago. kinda different though.

yea so i was in gym class and its first thing in the mourning. and i got up really late and missed breakfast. so my teacher says start off 2 lap warm ut around the field. and i was done i started to feel wierd like i was gunna pass out. my vison was fucked and my hearding was going a ringing. so i ran so the side an sat down . all i remember after that is waking up and my ipod beside me. i guess it fell out. but suprising nobody notices. i guess they thought i was lying down and just taking a break or something. cuz nobody seemed to notice other than my teacher.

Last year my sports medicine class went to the morgue for a field trip (weird i know). Anyway, the medical examiner or coroner w/e he is called was showing us around, showing us the tools and stuff and he took us into the main room where they weigh the dead body and take the pictures and shit. And there were these 2 guys standing at a table talking and laughing, turns out they were cutting up a brain. So the guy takes the brain that he just cut up into the photography room, and a piece falls off the board he was carrying it on. And he just picks it up and continues on. A couple seconds later our teacher says "brad, brad! are you ok?" and this big jock was just standing there stiff as a boner, white face. So the coroner calls for his assistant (who was creppy as fuck) and they grab a chair and have to force him to sit down. Then they wheel him into an office and he pukes.

i was building an mtb jump in the sun for like 3 hrs straight, first hit my foot slips off the pedal and i get a nasty cut in my shin, i was washing it off in the sink and it was deep and gross and i just passed out, first time i'd done it, feels weird

you didn't hit you head and didn't puke, thats a pretty successful passout nice work man. I realized it actually happened to me 3 times, each time I got up to go puke and passed out, hit my head two of the times and puked all 3

same shit happened to me after giving blood. i was fine the whole time but like 30 seconds before i started thinking about how fucked up it was. then my stomach started feeling horrible and i started to sweat. they took out the needle and i saw all the blood and felt really weird. but i stood up and was fine. went to get a drink, grabbed the bottle and it just hit me. like i couldn't hold it. i dropped the bottle of pop and literally stumbled to a seat, fell into it and just closed my eyes. my friend was talking but all i heard was a ringing. i never actually passed out though. and like 1 minute after sitting down i was doing fine. it was crazy.

Aha!
I forgot to clarify. I passed out right into a sharp metal table on my eyebrow. My dad freaked out and thought I was dead or something cause blood was gushing and I was still passed out, woke up to him yelling/spitting on me. Funny shit.

Eyebrow was split open, gnar gash, super glue works wonders on deep gashes. Hes a ER doctor so I'm betting he knows his shit.

naw it was more  the "back together" part that got me.  when body parts are in two pieces and need to be glued back together, well thats fucking epic.  especially when youre gnarly enough to use glue instead of stiches.

If im not mistaken, superglue has been used in the field kits that are supplied to medics in the army.  It stops cuts like none other, but it stings so bad!

ha described it pretty well. Im hypoglycemic, I pass out all the freaking time. Its kinda terrifying once youve passed out 4 or so times and realize whats going on and you cant stop it

I straight up passed the fuck out at my last concert. I've been to tons and really felt weirded out/ wicked dissapointed in myself...but when I woke up I felt fine, and then grooved out for the rest of the time, it was blacking out, i guess. haha

I knocked myself out once because I went off a dirtbike jump that had a fucking lake where the landing should have been, and I slammed the front brake and catapulted off to save the bike.  Only time i've ever pissed myself.  Pretty scary too, I was unconcious with my head partially in water.

Oh and all your classmates think your weird now.

yeah dude, i have vaso vagul, so i pass out a ton, mad easily, passed out in a baseball game, health class, 5th grade concert, tech class, computer class... you get the point. Ive had to go to the nurse close to 50 times throughout my schooling career i can usually tell when im going to pass out now though and stop it

One time I passed out in a Saw movie.. can't remember which one but it was the scene were a dude throws this girl into a pit full of syringes. Well I hate needles, and syringes sticking out of that chicks kneecaps and everywhere else on her body made me pass out.. I thought getting water would help so I got up to go to the bathroom. Started walking down the aisle in the theater and passed out and fell down the stairs ahaha It was Halloween and some dude dressed in a KFC bucket woke me up and helped me out while my friends were laughing cause they thought it was a joke... free movie though :)

my buddy passes out whenever he starts thinking about blood. He has this crazy creative mind that once it gets an idea about like blood flowing through his body he starts thinking about like all the veins and all the blood and stuff, he always explains it to me after but he's passed out a couple times in health class back in middle school when we were talking about heart surgery through your belly button or something?
I've never passed out but came pretty close giving blood the last time, the guy missed my vein like 4 times and he was just kinda like directing the needle around to try and find it and i just started to feel so light headed and got that same ringing thing where everything sounds muffled and your vision starts to like cloud around the edges.

but back to my buddy he, it happens to him alot so he's come up with bending down to get better blood flow to his brain if he is sitting and like tieing his shoe to get his mind off it and drinking something as quick as possible.

must suck man but i know what your talking about with the doctors sticking shit under skin that freaks me out too like when they do a tummy tuck and they have to like break the skin away from the flesh so they slide knife or whatever in there and just start like jammin away...alrgiht im kinda sick thinking about it ahahha good luck man try getting your head level with your heart next time

i was getting a forced tour of this tech/ vocational school that no one goes to with my 8th grade class.  the walked us into the nursing taining room and they showed us pictures and all these diagrams of 3d degree burn victims.  I walked out the door fainted and my head hit a locker.

One time when i was out to eat at a restaurant i got up to go to the bath room and just passed out once i stood up hit my head on a chair and went face first into the floor. like 10 seconds later i woke up with a waiter freaking out and asking if i needed a ambulance i just got up and ate. weird though i felt fine then i was fallin over

The first time it ever happened to me I was playing a tennis match in the hot ass sun at like 11 am and ate no food.  a couple points into teh game I felt teh same exact symptons as everyone decribes(ringing, everythings whiter/bright, sounds go in and out) so I just sat on the ground and got the shivers and a cold sweat. i definately thought i was gonna puke but then i just toss over and pass out then wake up while like 80 people are watching me at this huge tennis match. It was so damn weird

you may have fainted. the same thing happened to me once after i fell real hard of a fuckin rip stick. i was cleaning off my bloody finger and felt the same way. i went to go lay down in my buddies living room but i guess i didnt make it and i just fainted and woke up like 30 seconds later. I was fine after that though.

in my drivers ed class someone got sketched out by a movie that wasn't even that bad and she got up to ask if she could leave and a pretty bad part came on and she fell and hit her head on the desk. she came to pretty quick but i couldn't help laughing and i got some dirty looks from her nerdy friends

i doubt hell see this but our very own Dr_FeelGood, passed out senior year of HS, he was cruisin the halls passing between classes, adn just dropped straight to teh face, on a tile floor. i didnt witness it but heard it was carazy.
