Turd.Fergusoni would go with a 1:5 gin to juice ratio
CliffyByroYou may as well not bother with the gin. 1:3 or less is the best way to go
HolySchimmel1:5??? How are you supposed to get anywhere with that??
pussyfooterI mean if you want a casual cocktail that tastes good (usually want this when I'm hungover) 4:1 or 5:1 I'm a huge glass is great. But yes, 2:1 or 1:1 is the way to go
snobunnywho measures, anyway? I just put ice in a cup, pour in a couple inches of alcohol and then add mixer to the rim. Ftw
HolySchimmelSo, whats your favorite brand of gin?
NRamsayHad some lemon tonic water and gin. Needs more lemon next time though.
Definitely having some more later.
Actually was enjoyable after a couple gulps. Honestly i don't taste much of the pine though. Had 1:1 gin to tonic water ratio so not like i couldn't taste it. idk
snobunnyYou can also buy lime infused gin.
pussyfooterYeah a few years ago when I was super into G&Ts I would buy seagrams gin with lime juice in it, less work and it was usually like $20 for a 1.75. Tanq10 is by far my favorite gin though.
snobunnythe pine is the after taste-- like after you take a drink, then breath out slowly.
IDK, maybe its just for some people.
Ive never really heard of people doing gin/tonics with lemon until this thread though, I think lime is more common. You can also buy lime infused gin.
Chewy.Make yourself a Tom Collins. You'll fall in love.
