Well I am almost done with school for the year here at Albany, and that means its time for finals and such.
One of my classes is taught by this really laid back guy, and for our final we simply have to write a small research paper. I have a lot of ideas, but I need five sources, and 1-2 of them need to be 'Scholarly'. Another 'requirement' is that there should be two (or more) easily identifiable sides to a topic, but it is not completely necessary.
I was thinking something with skiing, but I don't think any Scholars submit skiing topics to peer-reviewed journals. If there is an easy/fun idea for skiing, I'm all for it, but I haven't thought of any good ones.
I was also thinking of discussing something along the lines of Swine-Flu' and other epidemics. I could bring up the topics of media blowing things up, statistics for epidemics, and take a look back at some world-wide diseases from the past.
Well I hope you guys can stir up some good ideas, because this has the potential to be a pretty fun project if I find the right subject.
