Free PVC - where do I find it?

i'd rather not spend the $$ on PVC since i already have to buy turf and stuff, where do i find it for free? at pretty much any construction site or what?  any secret places?  i don't want to steal it so some one would have to give it to me....any hints?

look for local departments of public works, or just local contruction sites.
my town has this place where they keep all thier supllies not gated or anything and u can just snatch it at night.

pvc isnt expensive really, but for free? hmm i found 20 feet of 3inch pvc in somebodys trash (in sections ofcourse) and also check out local parks, dumpsters at construction sites and abandon areas

yeah its def cheap but i need 12  ten-foot 1.5 inch pieces so thats upwards of 40 bucks. on top of turf thats a bit much...thanks for the help^ and ^^

im not sure but at my home depot pvc only cost $2-$3 for 10 feet

i think that's what he's trying to avoid. 12 pipes at $3 put him at $36 which is a lot more than he wants to pay. I'd say dumpster dive and try to find a construction site that you can snag pieces from at night

dude, what type of freakn rail are you making? if you gonna want to do it right you might as well invest. but in other words, break into a house and steal their plumbing haha

well i'm making 3 10 foot long 6inch wide rails (with 1.5 inch pvc) so i'm gonna need that much

when your driving around town pay attention to where theyre doing road construction. if theyre redoing or updating a sewer system they have big 10-20 foot pvc pipes. snatch one up at night. thats what i did and it works great
