allright, im decent to good on rails for what we got (i can slide them) but lately if i see something i dont completly like, i wont hit it. like tonight im helping the guys make our park (finally) set up a rail. they wanted me to hit it and i was like maybe. i ended up ot hitting it and im pissed now. anyone got a way to fix that? ive become more picky and pussyish and any help to end this would be sweet. thanks

just hit it and not care if people are watching and think about how good you could be and that if you never hit shit then you'll never get good

yea i guess your right but i kinda mean im picky witht the set up. like if i dont like it cuz of one little thing, i wont hit it. i guess i just need to suck it up and hit it and hoipe my phobia goes away

i get scared and nervous as fuck when im under preasure like that. i just fool myself into thinking i own the mountain and im the best skiier in the world. i guess it helps me just to believe i can do it so confidence is definatly important.

what you DONT want to do is be fearful and just go to overcome your fear. work on confidence not just going balls out. thats when bad stuff happens because you have the bad stuff in your mind. when your on the hill try to picture something exactly like you would when your home watching a ski vid or something

you said that you already know how to slide rails, so before you hit one that you dont particularly like just tell yourself that 'you know how to do this, and you've done it tons of times before' that helps me sometimes. or if that doesnt work, find a way to distract your self from the rail on the aproach, like look at some kid down the hill that looks really goofy and think about how goofy he looks, then look back at the rail and you will probably have forgotten about your fear then hit that shit like its no thang'
