Replying to WTF? Hydrant Tickets ?
So in front of my home there is a fire hydrant, to the left and right of this fire hydrant there is enough room for a car of a compact vehicle size to fit. i.e carolla, civic, camry ( my car ) I parked here last night which is directly in front of my house. I wake up this morning to a 40 dollar ticket for parking in front of a fire hydrant.
So my question is: Do I have any actual warrant to go into a court of law and state my case in front of a judge. How this is the only hydrant on my street in front of a home, how I was not parked obstructing the ability for firefighters to be able to get to it? How the fire hydrants should be placed more strategically aka near the wall opposite the street where no one can park?Or do I have to take this and just 40 dollars for parking late at night when I get home from a long day at work....Really think its unfair to put a non fire curb w/ a fire hydrant in front of my home.
