ARV's are relatively soft, but the newer ones have been stiffened up a bit. They have great dimensions for all mountain sticks, and I'm sure shred in the park as well.
I used to have arvs. I rocked them in the park and they killed it. Such a fun soft playful ski. They have since stiffened them up. They killed it everywhere but on ice.
I have the SFB's and, when my park skis were broken, I used them in the park. Like hellbents, they were super fun on butters and slow spins, but are too big for anything over a 5 in the park. They were solid on rails, but don't expect to swap very easily or spin on/off much. Defiantely not the best for 60% park use. The ARV's would be a much more realistic choice, but you might also look at the line blends, which suits your percentages much better.
I have 07-08 Arvs and they're sick. So much fun in park and on groomers. They are pretty soft, so on ice they arent too good, but i think the new ones are stiffer so they might be better. I used them in 17 in. of pow at vail and they worked decent. Not awesome, but they got the job done and it was fun.
