X-Men Origins: Wolverine (don't look if you haven't seen)

So, we got around to watching Wolverine last night. And we all agreed that it was very disappointing. They kill off Deadpool within what 5 min of him being in the movie? that's total bullshit, you can't kill him off in 5 minutes. Gambit had a minimal role, and everything ended way too abruptly.
there was no real character development, for a movie called X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the movie wasn't centered around Wolverine enough - it wandered too far, too fast.
Sadly, the X-Men movies have been more disappointing then not, and I fear that the next one (apparently about Phoenix) will be just as much of a let down. If they can actually continue this franchise without contradicting themselves I will be very surprised.
Opinions?

Gambit wasn't Cajun enough... seriously.
also, clearly a set up for the next hulk movie. Think about it... hard. Cmon.

next hulk movie eh? not sure if they have any plans right now for another solo hulk movie. they do have another Iron man in the works, and they also started leading up to the avengers movie at the end of both iron man and the hulk.
I heard though that Samuel L. Jackson got fired from his role as Nick Fury because he wanted to write his own lines for the movie and they were like "NO!" probably a good call, 'cause he would have been all like "mother fucking snakes on this mother fucking plane" type shit, you know?
