Iphone vs blackberry bold +k

well my contract for my old phone is up may 8th, and im looking at one of these smartphones
money isnt really an issue, and the phones are nearly the same price on a 3 year contract.

if you have an iphone or bold, your imput will be greatly apprieated. list some pros and cons. and wha you pay a month.

you can also drop your bold from like 10 feet onto concrete and it wont break try doing that with an iphone lol

i heard a rumor that because apple products "dont break" they do not offer insurance and it is 750 for a new phone if you do break it

the things listed next to iphone are what i have a computer and a laptop for lol. if im without the 2 i usually have no need to be on the internet or watching movies. really it seems like a waste of money to me. i would rather be able to send messages and check emails if anything and yes i know that involves the computer and internet and shit but you know what i mean, im not browsing google because im bored. blackberry internet isnt bad anyways it works for me when i need it.

I have a bold, love it, awesome for music and movies, easiest keyboard I've ever used on a phone, over all impressive.

the way I see it, if you want a touch screen

iPhone

If you text a lot

Bold

they both have so many features, it isnt worth comparing.

i have the iphone since it came to canada, and i love it. easy to use and the app store is really nice.
my father have a BB bold and he love it too so at this point ask you what will you do with it and it will influence the choice you gonna make

Word has it that Apple is coming out with a new "netbook like device". It has been rumored to be about 10", be touch screen, and be similar to a large ipod touch, with possible 3g.

Although I agree with you, the iphone does everything that I need in a mobile device and I am 100% more likely to carry it around with me.

I had an iphone, I hated it.  It never got reception anywhere.  I needed a new battery and had to send it to apple to get it fixed.

I bought a Bold in Feb of this year, its the best thing I have ever bought.  I can sync it to itunes and put my whole play list right on my Bold.  It get 100% better recaption.  I love the way it operates, they OS is a lot smoother.  The processor is twice as fast also.  If you want a bluetooth you have to use certain ones with the iphone, the Bold you can use anything.  Blackberry has a new awesome app store that is a lot better than the apple one.  I am a lot happier with my Bold.

I have a curve, but have played with the Bold a lot, and it will be my next phone.

I am/will be using my phone for business, so it was an easy decision.  Bold is awesome for business.

The Iphone is also pretty money though.  Personally, I don't think the phone feature is the best, and I prefer a real keyboard, but the phone kills it otherwise.

There is NO comparison between the Iphone Apps store and the blackberry.  Apple kills it.  Blackberry sort of sucks.  I have pandora and slacker and a few other things on my blackberry, but most apps are new, suck, and are super expensve.  There is no comparison here.

Personally, what I plan to do when I can afford it is....

Bold for phone.
Ipod touch so I can still use all the sick apps of the Iphone, without having to deal with what I feel is a shitty phone/business offering.

You really cannot go wrong though.  For most people, I would probably say the iphone is fine and will have more cool apps and shit that will appeal to you.  I know I want one.

But for business related stuff, there is just no comparison.  Blackberry kills it there.

Don't both the Iphone and BB Bold currently use AT&T though?  Meaning the service provider was the same, but the phone ability to receive the signal was different.  Unless the bold is on another provider now.

Some people have definitely complained that service is spotty on the Iphone.

My only qualm about getting either an iphone or bold is that AT&T pretty much blows and their reception sucks compared to verizon.  I get service everywhere.  My friends with AT&T are always losing it.

everyone knows touch screens suck dick. Go blackberry. So easy to use, and super nice when at college and proffs send out emails all day long. I dont remember the last time i went on a computer to check email. Its just so easy when you can instantly recieve emails on your phone. Makes school so much easyier always being in the loop, and knowing due dates and what not. GO BLACKBERRY.

that's 100% pure bullshit. you "heard a rumor"?? why don't you go do some fucking research? $750 for a new iPhone??? are you out of your fucking mind?! i broke my iPhone by dropping it on concrete and they replaced it for FREE.

people who hate on iPhones are simply jealous they don't have one. anyone who has one knows i'm right.

neither get the blackberry curve. sucha awesome phone i drop mine about 10 times a day and i've had it for like a year and its in perfect condition other than the scratches

Get the iPhone. The app stores cant even be compared, apple is amazing. I have an ivyskin case for mine and is still fine after dropping it numerous times. Get apple care and that will cover just about anything that happens to it. Service really depends on where you live, i get service everywhere around me.

doesnt cover any normal hardware damage like a regular cellphone insurance plan does.. aka water, cracked screen, etc.
