Anyone else majorly down then ski season is completely over? I know that I am :(

What do you do in the summer to take the place of the beloved skiing?

basketball and tag games on a jungle gym, street hockey, skate, y'know, this and that.  except when its 90 goddamn degrees in new jersey, what... then I just sit in the AC and play call of duty.

I guess there's some sort of thing called Seasonal Affective Disorder and happens to people when its like fall/winter...

Pretty sure I get that anytime there isn't any snow. haha!!

if you live in colorado there's no reason for you to be sad and depressed considering abasin is still open and breck is hike-worthy...and it just snowed.

Yeah man i hear ya, there will still be a few days at abasin and loveland pass but the feeling of the season being over is there, and that coupled with the stress of finals is seriously depressing me. I'll at least be cheery again when finals are over in a week and i can start working, but all i'll be thinking about is skiing, trying to get in shape for next season, and gaining up money for next season. Glad i have a solid collection of ski movies to get me through the off season, as well as some hiking at st. marys so i can at least have the skis under my feet from time to time.

Yeah I'm about to die because the season is nearly done. Only like 3 months until Blackcomb glacier shuts down! That's too soon for me.

Haha, sorry, but I have to feel happy because I grew up here and I could just as easily been born somewhere else where there is no skiing at this time of the year... Stoked on the long season.

the season never ends.. theres no such things a ski/snowboard seasons... theres just a super long break in between the time you see snow....haha

I agree, there park this year is so sick, and its still a place that not a lot of people go to which makes it that much better. Def one of my favorite places to go.

But whatever I think Im just going to take my mountain bike skills to the next level.

a lot of good kids go there at the end of the year, creates a good atmosphere. the park isnt great compared to like keystones or breck, but for abasin its legit. i pretty much only go there in october and may, but its always fun...

Haha hell yeah, I love it out here. One of the best places to live I think, fresh air and amazing skiing, ha. Your gonna love it out here, especially if your going to college.
