honestly i never really learned any tricks on water ramps, its fun, and really the only thing i got out of it was some helpful tips and better air sense, i learned rodeos on ramps...but then proceeded to forget them over the 3 months before i actually got to ski. I did alot of corks and flips and got more comfotable with them, but i allready knew how to do those before ramping.

plus u dont actually learn how to land on ramps....and landing is like 85.987% of any trick IMO...cause if u dont land then all you really did was flail helplessly through the air.

i only throw down when its icy as shit and i learned dubs before 3s. come on, this thread is bull shit.

you think it doesnt take balls to hit a water ramp switch or something like that? water ramps are HARDER to learn tricks on, its just all some people have in the summer so why no ski in the summer?

Seriously? Water ramps are a great tool that some people are privileged to be able to use and work very hard on to get better at what they love to do. Jumping isn't just about having the balls to "huck" some huge trick off a jump... Jumping is about feeling your way into things.

nope, never been to water ramps, no pow landings, air cushions, anysuch thing to lighten a fall.  switch 10'ing I am not, but the ice coast is all about hucking onto hardpack.  What a ridiculous thread.
