alright so i was looking at this old bookshelf, and i notice all my redwall books from like 6th and 7th grade.

I starting thinking about all the memories from those books, they were so sick!

i started reading them in 1st grade.
read ever one at least 2 or 3 times.
the most recent one was BALLER.
the long patrol, pearls of lutra, rakkety tam and lord brocktree are still the most epic though.

Seriously? They were so daunting for me in 4th grade it took me till 5th until I was ready to read them. I really can't imagine you reading and getting everything out of them when you were 6. Hell I wasn't even reading Hank the Cowdog then.

Fuck man, I forgot about those books, they were dope as shit. Definitely my favorite series as a kid. Favorite book still has to go to Ender's Game though.

so i read watership down.

i remember the show on pbs. awesome shit back then.
when i saw the topic i was immediately like OH SHIT i remember that series... maybe i should go look them up again. see what it was that was so legendary about them.

redwall along with pokemon was the defenition of my childhood
but legit kids were way too fucking obsessed with that shit at my school
they had a dungeons an dragons type club shit but it was redwall, haha
