Snow in Australia 6 weeks before the season.

In the last two days we've had 40cm of snow and it's still 6 weeks out from the season.  Even during the season we hardly get dumps like this it's crazy.

we had a big dump here 3 or 4 weeks ago. didn't do much aside from cool the ground down, but thats all good

apparently they got 20cm but i couldnt confirm that anywhere, but it is snowing in thredbo. im going there in july aswell

I am not trying to get into a debate online, but it is called global warming because the Earth's average temperature is increasing. With climate change (a better term than global warming) the extremes are more extreme - the colds are colder and the hots are hotter; same thing with snowstorms.

Don't jinx yourself.

This year Utah had a huge snowstorm that allowed the resorts to open. Then we went for a month and a half with nothing except for a little bit of rain.
