Best Surface?

hey i have my drop in ramp at 7ft 6. we have this thick orange plastic stuff that they line the beds of uhauls and stuff with. i get good speed on the way down but once i hit flat i slow way down. would turf work better or what? help please

turf is good when it is wet. and yes it would probably work better

its going to work better only when you water and saop it. IT sounds like with the orange stuff you cant water it because there are big gaps. Also make sure your transistion to flat is okay and not so abrupt.

you can water the orange stuff but then it is like an ice rink. and im pretty sure our transition is good. we tried to make it really smooth

i just used some short carpet that we cut out of my house before we re did the carpet and it works great with soap and water. i just used some water and a little dish soap and it slid great but im going to try some Tide and i still need to build the jump at the end
