They are actually pretty stiff. Not super stiff or anything, but failry stiff for a rockered pow ski. I would say similar flex to a Bacon, or probably a little bit stiffer. I've skied em in pow and on chopped up crud, and you can definitely CHARGE on them.
If your looking into picking up a pair also consider the donner party. I haven't been able to ski both but i let my buddy who has a pair of args take a day on my donners and he preferred the donners, but their basically the same ski, the donner just has a slightly wider tip and provides a lil bit more float, i think their a lil lighter too.
i've heard in chopped up powder and harder stuff the donner party doesnt do aswell because of the softer flex.
arg's are stiffer for a rockered ski but there still plenty soft. they can charge through chop and crud better then most rockered skis because of the stiffer flex but they still slay pow like no other.
Seriously get them. they make skiing pow sooo much more fun. it will make you feel like a pro with how fast you can ski in tight places becuase the turn so quickly in deep snow and slow speeds. I took them out if it snowed 4 inches or more and it would feel like a foot and a half. Also they are kinda fun on groomers i thought.
you cannot carve with them on hard pack, but even if the groomers are soft they will rip. i found it fun to go into tracked out trees and and just slashing every turn because it skids around soo easily.
only bad thing i thought was that they are slowwww on flat cat tracks back to the lift, so keep em waxed.
Also they are super poppy and u can pop off anny sort of bump. they charge through cut up, and you can ski aggressivly with confidence even when conditions are 5/10.
Overall they are my second ski and i am super stoked i got them. Also, because they are a pow ski they take much less abuse and so last alot longer, so even if you only get 5 days a year on them, you will still be loving them 5 years down the road.
