Replying to The homepage and its growing absurdity

The homepage has progressively gotten more and more ridiculous in the past year. It is probably the slowest loading page on the internet that I visit regularly, and makes me feel like i am going to have a seizure with all the flashing and moving shit that takes so long to load. I personally don't come here for anything on the homepage except maybe the videos of the week. I would suggest cutting down on how much is on the homepage, or even making a customizable homepage to solve the issue. I'm sure there are more than a few people here that would agree with me. Thanks for considering.
