Help me pick an outfit for a wedding!

So I want to wear an all black suit with this tie (see link) and I can't for the life of me decide what shirt to wear/go get.  If any of you can inspire me that would be sick.  Pics are double points.  Oh ya, not my wedding, I'm going to a wedding.

if you're in it, you're going to be standing on display for a couple hours.  if you're not in it, you're going to be sitting there for a couple hours looking at the bridesmaids.

I'm not really feelin' that tie personally. It's a nice tie, but it's too bland. I'd definitely rock something a little brighter/more lively to a spring wedding if you don't want to blend right in with everyone else there but that's all on you.

If you could find a dark maroon shirt that is similar to the maroon in that plaid, that might work...hard to say without seeing live. white couldn't be any more boring...you'll look like every other asshole that wears a shirt and tie to work every day...stay away from that shit.....yeah, that's all I've got to offer.

That's actually exactly what I'm doing.  The tie has red, not maroon so I am wearing a red shirt that pops really well with it.  Win, always go to the girls in the dorm rooms next door for your clothing advice :)

Thanks for confirming it though man.  It's hard to do without seeing it in all together in person.

The tuxedo t shirt is the best thing to wear to a party were you dont know anyone. Because you get to use the line from ricky bobby, and it opens really well for conversation.

that tie and a black suit can be pulled off. khaki color + black is always a go. with something relatively busy like burberry plaid, a solid color white or really really light blue is what you want. if you're feeling adventurous, a blue/white striped shirt can be done, but ONLY if the stripes are really fucking thin. a white pocket square is optional.

I'm borrowing everything, which is why I only had this choice.  I've gained 20 lbs of muscle since the last time I had a suit.  $10 shirt for the win!

I think this is a good opportunity to start looking for a new suit of my own though...

I have that tie but it's a blue check, it's a color that would work pretty well with a black suit. You could always get/wear a black suit, white shirt, and a repp tie or club tie from ralph lauren... That brown/gold check doesn't really look good outside of t-shirts and linings on jackets, shirts etc. so I wouldn't get that tie in that color... if you want a Burberry tie they have the ones that are a solid color with the logo all over it, they're pretty sick

no but seriously if you want to rock a nova check tie you can't wear ALL black...you will look like a mobster. so nix any idea of wearing a black suit with a black shirt (plus all black isn't proper for a wedding).

burberry makes anything you have on look instantly classic. so i would suggest a slim fit suit (similar to a dolce suit) with a very clean/sharp white shirt (not your typical cotton dress shirt you wear to a birthday dinner) and then the tie. make sure your shoes are super clean and polished as well.

i rock an all black suit at my friends wedding last week...  black jacket, pants, vest (i was the best man so i had to wear a three piece...  grrrr), shirt, and a blood red tie...   kind like Agent 47 from Hitman type tie.

for your tie, if you are wearing a black suit you should wear a lighter coloured shirt, and that tie probably won't look as good as ou think it will unless you arelady have it and can see it in person.

Ya, I have it in person because I borrowed an entire outfit except for a shirt.

I appreciate all the help, but just so everyone knows I already have a shirt that works and the wedding is in an hour.
