Stiff Skis

I want sum stiff skis for next season, this year i rocked sum ar5's, ar6's and sum old dynastar critons, and i think the critons were the best. so whats the product update, whats the good stiff ski to buy this year, cause i really dont have a clue.
I know that softer skis r better for buttering, but im kinda to fat and lazy to butter so id rather have sumting with a better pop that lasts long.

im a park rat. 5'11" 200 lbs. used to ski moguls so i know how to flex my skis quick. id say that this year i did 90% rails, 8% jumps and 2% moguls.
yeah sorry that i said sum and sumting, ill try to fix it next time

you should maybe look at chronics. they're stiff

and, don't worry about spelling. we all know what you mean, so don't worry about it.

Fischer Addicts. Stiff, symmetrical beasts. you can charge like no other, so stable, put they are made for the park.

Moment Reno Jibs have a medium/stiff flex and have TONS of pop.
Also the Moment M1 and Garbones are both 2x4 stiff. Definitely the some of the stiffest skis out there

Pipecleaners super stiff super fast
TNKs super stiff super fast
Chronic stiff reg. base and has had some delamination problems this year.(shown in post "my chronics are pretty knackered)

I rode the reno jibs this season and they were such a fun ski to ski on.  they are pretty damn stiff but with just enough flex to manage, but they are soo poppy they are a blast to ski on. check em out, there a solid ski

Anyone who says Chronics are stiff is a 12 year old girl.

Pipe Cleaners are just marginally stiffer than the AR6 so they're still pretty soft.

chronincs are stiff compared to almost any other twin tip. and don't go saying that addicts/addict pros are stiffer, they are about the same. The wall is probably the stiffest, but a little bit stiffer than the chronic. And at least you agrees that AR6's are soft, so many people say they are stiff and they are anything but stiff.

correct me if im wrong but i think the silencers are the stiffest k2s, and they are hella cheap but they are k2s so you know they are quality

The whole lib tech range are super stiff. I haven't skied them but The Governator would struggle flexing them, pretty rare too.

Moment Reno Jibs. super fun ski and stiff! these skis have to be my favorite park skis that i have ever ridden. i would check these out for sure.

yes, volkl walls are pretty stiff, bridges stiffer. 

everyone that was saying chronics are stiff is on crack, and the pipecleaners oh my god, you can fold those in half compared to the bridges. 

trust me i have karmas and they are as stiff if not stiffer than my old rossi 9x gs skis, and because of that they fucking destroy crud and any type of groomed stuff.  seriously such a fun ski, they rip in everything.

Dude not those.  those are tooo stiff.  you only need those if your 300+ lbs or drop 50 ft cliffs consistently.  them and hellbents are two skis to stay away from if you want any flex at all.

If your looking for stiff with TONS of pop look into liberty laroses.

Skis are lighter than anything listed above, bamboo core, and sidecuts centered at -2.5cm so they slay trails just as hard as the park

Definitely recommended, and they're super cheap now too!! I've ridden the new LTE and it was the most fun twin tip i've skied, super light, stiff - yet super poppy, can do anything and look pretty sweet too.

naw man extremes are crazy stiff for jumps and silencer are entry level soft ski. for this guy id say extremes definitely they can be found for around $200

I agree my larose's are really fun, but not super stiff like this guy is asking for. i'd say larose's are medium flex, maybe a little more towards to the stiff side medium. But if you're looking for a true stiff ass massive amounts of pop ski. My ninthward LT's fit that exactly. granted they only come in 176 and you're 5'11 200 you're quite a bit bigger than me (5' 8" 170) so you might be wanting something a little longer, but just saying other than the length they fit what you're talking about.

p.s. if you do want larose's though i can hook you up with some 178's (nowhere has 178's online anymore) for around 330-350ish range.

For all-mountain/powder i can recommend the scott p4, stiff tip, soft tail, great controll on groomer, the early tip causes no shimmy at all and in powder the soft tail absorbs landings and the stiff front keeps you in control...

for park i cant really recommend something....

Hands down the Rossignol S5. It is build after the Scratch BC. Super stable, light with the WRS and slays what ever you are doing.

guys he said he skied like 90% rails. i thought my comment about suggesting LT's would have been borderline about as big as he wants to go. not trying to put anyone down, but just keep in mind that he's looking mainly for rail skis.

im about ur size and i rock the chronics pretty hard but they are nowhere near super stiff their just perfect for stomping landings with the stiff to support and some give for soft and easy landings but im not so good on rails with them but it might just be me. also i demoed a few skis and will say u dont want silencers, nuff said. but the extremes might be in the super stiff catagory and the walls arent that stiff but they feel so amazing on rails for me it was lik auto pilot for me on the rails just lined it up and spun like a top. switchup were quick and easy and they rode away like butter. go find a resort which does demoing and try some out
