Nah dude haha Im stoked to, I love it. the past two days were in the 70s in Great Falls and I was cruising around everywhere on my pedal bike now its snowing and Im going skiing this weekend.
Anyone know if there are any jumps built in Beehive? A pre-beartooth session would be uber sick.
Kevin; I am going to the little belts this weekend. Possibly Showdown but I would rather skin up Deadmans, Weatherwax, or something up the back of Long Mountain but the problem is finding someone to go with. Probably in a few weeks, once the snowpack gets isothermal I plan on skinning into Hour Lake up on the Front by Choteau and some other mountains out of Augusta I want to hike.
hot damn kip you make me wish that i had an AT setup. Hot damn maybe this summer i'll buy one when i have money. If you move to bozeman ever then i'll definitely buy one
bunch of us just had a fat sesh at the skate park we set up some rails and seshed for bout 3 hours good times prolly go up to bridger sat or sunday also
Dude, if your setting up rails down towards the base of the mountain you will be in areas of such low incline (probaly 10-20 degrees) that an avalanche would be nearly impossible. If your planning on hiking the ridge or building jumps then it would definitely be something to consider.
You'd be surprised how much you start touring once you have the option. I probably spend 1/2 my days in the backcountry, and it will go up substantially now that I am forever condemned to skiing pow.
