Is 8ft drop in too high?

I've read some theads in this cult and most people advise to make the drop in 8ft.
wouldn't that give you too much speed?
have a look at johnhy broggzz edit

the drop in isnt really high and works really well for him
what do you think?>

8 feet isn't too high depending on your setup. i mean his setup is real legit. but it really depends

but no i would say a 8 foot is not necessary
it does depend on your rail and where you have to set up

it all depends on the slope of the surface it's on, the slippiness of the turf/fence/whatever and the lenght/kind of rail you have
