Am i the only person who thinks hes taking stuff wayyyy too far?? It seems like he cant even take skiing seriously now. I mean you cant all the time but sometimes you need to. First it was the annoying Hyphy edits then his joss edit which IMO sucked. The song was the main focus want it supposed to be the skiing? O yeah theres a couple skiing clips in there. I mean you can be funny and still take skiing somewhat serious.

I never really got it, its basically the same joke (pretending to be overly ghetto) over and over. I watch comedians when I want to laugh and skiing edits when I want to see skiing.

symms understands that pro skiers aren't just skiers but entertainers. he obviously can't keep up with jon wester and the next big dub flip, but he did manage to create most the memomorable vid from joss and right now all the hype is around him and west and not dub flip-big spinner guy. in reality the other vids weren't even terribly good. yeah the skiing was sick but they were boring. were slowmo and wallrides a requirement? from a media/hype/sponsor point of view symms had the best trick of the joss and the team went into that comp with that plan from the start. that shows me he's just as serious, but in a diferent way.

idk dude, hes just doin his thing. they knew there joss edit wasnt gonna win because well... uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. no shit! it had fucking jon symms in it. no shit they cant win on skiing because jon symms didnt think he deserved to be there. they made a kickass song and he still skied to the best of his ability in the footage.

Coming from a person who doesnt wear tall t's and doesnt spend 110% of my time hitting rails i completely understand his humor and find it hilarious. Key word humor, he is just like any other comedian, they poke fun at current trends, fashion and people of status.
