looks comfortable. but looks impractical i think the rachet strap buckles would break alot from so much pressure being put forward on hard landings.  i'm saying epic fail.

there's no possible way their design would give you as much lateral support as a traditional ski boot. this might be ok for snowlerbladers but i'm going with epic fail

interesting. Seems like  a good idea for people who both ski and snowboard, you could probably use the inner boot for snowboarding.

Honestly if you have ski boots that fit right they are not bad at all. i dont mind hiking mine and i like having ski boots stiff. Then just undo your buckles when you walk around. I dont need anything else really.

Bump because I just ran across a pair of these things and had no clue what they were. Just wondering what the current opinion on them and if anyone has actually tried them. Seemed pretty crazy to me. Especially with an msrp of $900 (looks like there are some lesser priced versions too though).

They're kooky as fuck. I've only seen one pair in the wild and they belonged to a 50 year old lady with snow blades, that's not a look you want to go for. Honestly though, what's so bad about ski boots? As long as you get a pair that doesn't physically hurt your feet you'll be good. Sure, they're stiff but that's the fucking point. To anyone who's concerned enough about comfort to even consider this monstrosity; maybe you should stay inside, it's a bit chilly on the hill today.
