Help me pick a college...

I'm leaving out names to avoid biases but you could probably figure it out
School A:
-Big name private university
-about 30,000 students
-tons of choices as far as classes/majors
-sunny climate
-amazing football team/school spirit
-no scholarships
School B:
-fairly well known but not as much history as school A
-great study abroad program
-students get a free transit pass
-about 15,000 students
-about a years worth of tuition in scholarships
-1hr from skiing
Pretty much everyone I talk to says "oh how could you not go to school A" , but school B has way more tangible reasons of why I should go there. I would be an undergrad student by the way.

I think B sounds better. I think it's also really important to go wherever can cater to your major or your interests. Figuring out what you want to do and then finding out your school doesn't have a department in that field, or the program ends up sucking, is the worst feeling in the world.
and honestly? fuck what everyone else says or the name or anything. you're the one going there.

have you visited both school A and school B? that was a HUGE deciding factor for me when i had to choose colleges - the vibe.

Pick the one you want to go to; period.
It's better to the pick the right college first with that core feeling.

definitely B! skiing doesnt seem to be near school A, i made that mistake for college and it was the WORST idea ever.

except there are only like 9,000 students at uvm and no public transit withing 100 miles.
just tell us what the schools are.
