Jobs for 12-14 year olds

i need money to pay for my skis and bindings and for the biking season.   im only 13 and really can't think of any. HELP ME PLEASE!!!1

if there are any contracting or construction companies around where you live then go talk to them and ask if they need any workers. sometimes theyll hire kids to do jobs, kind of like day laborers. most jobs require you to be at least 15y.o., though most reqire you to be 16.

go to your local sports and recreation center and see if they have any concession stands. thats where i have worked for the past 4 years and my boss doesnt care to much about age when he is hiring. im the guy who gets put in charge of trainin new youngins and alot of them are around 14or so. it normally helps if you are a pretty girl with bewbz but you should give it a shot

im working at a boat marina lifting cinderblocks and pickin up garbage around the place. easy job with a mule (industrial golfcart prettyy much). 8 bucks an hour, 10 hour day, 80 bucks a day, 3 days a week, 240 in one weeks pay =) ill be goin to windells in about 5 weeks worth of work. parents payin half of course.

I'm gonna have to be a negative nancy and say that most business won't hire a 7th grader when they could easily get a high schooler because of the shit economy.

You should try to mow lawns or do odd jobs, like others suggested.  I wouldn't worry about it too much though, you really don't need spending money in 7th grade, and you will really miss not doing anything all summer once you get older.  Enjoy it while you can!

go around to neighbors, and ask if they need any yardwork done, or what i did once is go to local golfcourses and collect balls in the woods then sit out side on the course n sell em for like 2 bucks if there good balls, i made a bunch of money once

i'm looking for a summer job too.  im 13.  right now i ref hockey and soccer, hockey pays a lot, but you need to know how to skate.  the problem is soccer is usually spring and fall, and hockey is spring, fall and winter, but i ski all winter.  with refferees you always get in.  they dont have to chose you, you just sign up.  i used to be a paper boy, but i was only paid $8 for 3hours of work:(  reffing soccer you get paid $10-$25, but i usually get paid $15 because i ref 6year olds.  i usually ref 1 game thursday, 4 saterday, and 4 sunday, so i make $120- $150 a week for standing on a sideline pionting my flag.  $150 times 4.5 weeks a month =$675 a month times 3 months = $2025 a season.  BAM!!  next year is fully paid for, and you get to go to windells if you keep old outerware

buy 2 sweatshirts/ shirts for like 5 dollars at walmart (10 dollars in all) cut one and sew it together making it a tall sweatshirt...then sell em to ur friends for 20 bucks and u just made 10 dollars! it takes like 30 minutes or so if u get really good at it. just ask ur mom if u have a sewing machine

sell drugs or get a job at a restaurant washing dishes and work your way up to a waiter.( like in a few years) 

Get a job you won't mind going back to during the summer and if you get a good base of references from restaurants you'll get a job like nothin.

Usually people own their own mowers you can use.

The bst job is to work for older people. Go buy them grociers do stuff around their house as they ask. They usually love children will feed you adn the tasks are simple. its what I used to do

I started working when i was 12 mowing a lawn for this family. Now I am 17 and I am in charge of their entire property as well as clearing their field. It's basically an endless supply of work. I have a key to the house so I just show up whenever I want.

I also have 4 other lawns to mow.

And another house I take care of.

pays the bills.

charge your friends to get their skis and snowboards waxed by you

if u buy a big block of wax at a bulk price you can turn a pretty decent profit from it.

nah, its not illegal, I can be stock boy at 15 and with drugworld i can stock shelves there too. I got a job as a busboy though, i get paid like $9 an hour on a friday or saturday with tips, and it's still mid may. I work where the shakespeare crew come and leave big tips after every performance so i get lots more then!!
