When you turn 14 get working papers, I had them. Until then sell stuff on ebay, I made almost 3 grand in a year.

i try to mow lawns as much as possible with my friend.  the only reason i don't do it myself is because i live in a town house and people do it for us.  so i don't have any equipment.

if you are into golf you should caddy. i did this last year and payed for my setup including outwear. i made like $1000 and got to golf for free on modays so i played about $1000 worth of golf for free too and it was at a beautiful course. it is a fun job if you like golf if not then you wouldnt like it

its sooo worth it. the tricky part is finding a club that still uses caddies, you might wanna research that a little bit, but it is my perfect summer job cuz you get t be outside too and not inside and wishing you were outside

mow lawns, if you have half the will that i did at 14, started mowing at 12, you will make enough money, now 17, just bought a decent $1200 mower that i will pay off in 3 weeks and i made $1000 a month last summer, and worked a maximum of 13 hours a week. $25 a lawn (half acre about) 1 hour per lawn, about $250 a week, cant get that with a minimal wage job,

seriously though i did it last summer as a 16 year old, walking, maximum distance in my neighborhood was a half mile about, and i used a mower i found in the garbage, fixed it, $6000 profit.....boom

try to find new business that are opening up, a new italian resteraunt opened in my town and i worked there for a few weeks (got a better job at staples) but alot of the buss boys/girls were 14-15...

Mow grass.

work at a local family style restaurant washing dishes busing tables.

mowing grass really is the shit when you are your age. do odd jobs for neighbors, raking leaves, basic yard work.

if any neighbors have dogs and they work full time, offer to let them out and take them for walks in the middle of the day? my brother used to do this for one of our neighbors.

defidently do this in the fall cause spring is almost over. be a soccer ref i you make like 20 buck a game which last only like an hour. you can make over 100 a weekend if your ambitious

I don't know if anyone is willing to hire someone that young in this economy. Im 19 and it took me 3 months to find a job. they say 1/3 of teenagers this summer will have a job. pretty bad odds if you ask me.

mowing lawns is the best bet, but again, I dont know if people are going to pay someone to mow their lawn in this economy.

I just turned 14 and I'm getting a job this summer as a biking instructor/assistant biking instuctor, so I'm pretty much going to get paid a couple of grand to ride trails and bike parks... with a bit of teaching. I'm pretty stoked!
