he means that if you put bindings on it, they should be able to fit a 26-28 size boot according to the position in which the holes are already drilled.

oo yeah thats true .. ! sorry ! but is not a big difference because when I put the ski next to my other  ski (176 length ) is almost the samething !! like a millimeter anyway yeah its 172 Sorry !!
