Goggles and helmet

Ha, ive been making a shitload of threads about buying stuff lately. Its cause im a cheap bastard and i want to buy stuff when its dirt cheap.

I think im going to get a new lid and a new set of goggles. You see, i have a pretty big head. Not wide, just tall. I look retarded with high profile helmets, so i need one thats low. The smith holt looks nice and seems pretty low profile, anything else? I could get one of those bern hardhats with no padding and just awear a beanie, but i rather have a full helmet with earpads.

And the goggles, crowbars go for around 70, 80, and 90 dollars. Im not going over 100 since the goggles will probably be a birthday present and my budget is 100. There are some spy soldiers and zed for under 100 on the house. ANyone have experience with these?  I know you guys all love crowbars but they look kinda wide and my head isnt that wide.  The house also has electric, smith and anon goggles. Anything about those you could tell me about?

holts and berns are both sick, and i've used both...

for goggles, you should look at crowbars (ahhviously, haha) but a lot of people also like eg2s. now if your head is narrow, you shouldn't go for either, because they are both pretty big. some smaller sized goggles are spy soldiers... you should check em out

Those look pretty good IMO.

And whatsup with oakley wisdoms? Theyre cheaper then crowbars most places. Are they any good?

Doing the custom thing would be slick, but reading the prices, looks like its cheaper to just buy a whole set.

I've heard that wisdoms shouldn't be used with helmets. Apparently the helmet blocks the vents on the goggles and they fog like a mother. I am definately a fan of crowbars and soldiers. I have soldiers and they are smaller than the crowbar but it doesnt limit the vision that much.

the wisdoms have a slightly smaller range of view i believe, but u wouldnt notice. it isnt as comfortable as the crowbars and they are soso with helmets [ive had a pair before]

also, alot of wisdoms don't come with a helmet compatible strap.
i have the same shaped face.  long/tall and thin
my brother's RED hifi looks good on me.
i am using some cheap rossi helmet that is SUPER low profile.  don't remember the model name, it's from a few years ago.

and for goggle.
tramdock.com and brociety.com
try to get some crowbars...  best goggle ever designed.

Alright so wisdoms dont sound that great. Soldiers and crowbars it is. I just pmed a guy about some crowbars anyways.
Another thing with the helmets is that im asian and i have Bruce Lee style hair. So i figured out myself, the more of a back panel of the helmet there is, the less stupid ill look. Alot of my forehead also shows. Right now have a cheap Kuu helmet and it itches like mad. Do other helmets do that too?

i actually just took a skate helmet and threw it on my head worked like a charm....cheap too 25 bucks haha. Another helmet to look into is the Giro Encore I think is the model. Its a low profile one too. They have another skate inspired helmet as well look at that one. Both would work well with the goggles and good luck man.

Yeah i was thinking of that too. I could just throw a beanie under it. But its kinda wierd cause my helmet is medium and it fits perfectly, the hat raises the thing even higher.

i took the lil padding out of mine, it really dosent do much to be honest and the beanie gives enough insulation as is. that should help the helmet sit more low profile on your head.
