who the hell is he anyways?

I know there have been rumors that it's lewis hamilton, but they figured that the f1 schedule and filming schedules would make this impossible, and there are picture of them together.

and for that matter, when does the new season of top gear begin?!

well it would be very easy to get another driver to fill in for him for that short period of time that they are together to try and throw off the trail

true. Though if i remember right, from what people have heard/seen of him, he has very white skin and i think light hair.

I find it interesting too that he drives a completely different line than anyone else on the top gear track. If it is a single person who does the testing, i would say he is definitely one of the best (and luckiest) drivers in the world.

its not a famous f1 driver, at least not a current one...
its probably a retired F1 dude or something like that.
