so, i have an old 40 gig ipod but it has been broken for a number of months. my room mate offered to take it apart to see if he could fix it but i declined because i just thought i would take it to apple eventually.
today i decided that i didnt want to deal with apple so i just let him take it apart. the ipod was old so i wasnt really attached to it.
so he took it apart, unplugged shit and plugged it back in, and here's the zinger:
he folded up a pokemon card (it was a wartortal, although a index card would have worked) and placed it inside the ipod.
so i plugged it in to my charger and let it sit for about 5 minutes. low and behold, my ipod is now charging and working beautifully.
anyone with a similar experience?
