Ok, so i just watched that video that someone posted of danny mac trail biking. a bunch of my friends do it and i just feel kinda left out cuz im the only one who mountain bikes. So i want NSers opinions on some good beginner trail bikes and what your thoughts are about trail biking. my friends are douch bags and just tell me to go on tartybike.com but thats no help in helping me find a beginner bike. so anyone know any good websites in the U.S. that sells trail bikes...?
First of all, it's trials, not trails. If you want to buy used look in the classifieds on ridemonkey.com, pinkbike.com, or mtbr.com. I would suggest creating a forum thread on one of those websites because you will get more help there than on NS.

don't jump right into it with a trial bike, get a bmx bike or use your mountain bike and just work on doing stuff like that, i've been doing that a little with my xc bike, just hopping up sets of stairs and riding some urban and once you get good at that then look into getting a trial bike but i wouldn't rush into it. trials is one of the hardest forms of riding
just make sure you have a nimble bike with REALLY good brakes
ik wat you mean....ill see. cuz i have been doin a crap load of urban on my hardtail. if i were to buy a trial, id want to buy it soon while my bike is still worth a good chunk of money..i just got new disks on it and i bought it in august
