Im looking to buy a new pair of Armada ar5 180cm's. Im selling my 175 TM's to get a pair of these skis. I can get them for around $400 and am selling my Tm's for $300. I'm just wondering if Armada has lived up to all the hype. If anyone knows tell me now. I have to buy these skis soon for Whistler.

Stiffer than Rossi Scratch! I've tried the Scratches,they weren't too loose,maybe good for butters,I don't know,the Ar5 is stiffer,nothing compared to Mad_Trix type of stiffness,but stiff enough. PE's are a little stiffer,I think.

They are a sick ski, other than the fact ul need a new pair every month, they delam instantly and the bases crumble if u do rail, ive already gotten two new pairs, other than that they are sick skis

I have em. My tail plates fell off and the bases were pretty soft when it came to hitting rails. Topsheets chippedl ike crazy. Edges cracked like crazy from rails, and I don't even hit rails too often. Ski-wise... they were awesome. Parkwise... they were awesome. But durability isn't exactly what you'd be buying the ski for. Maybe I'll give em another try in a few years.....
