Okay why is this happening with Adobe Premiere 7

it continually shuts itself down. or at least it tells me the program is not responding all the time and stops working. any fixes?

What kind of video are you using? I've had issues like that before when using the video from my digicam... Premier didn't like the codec.

make sure you have all the updates.

if you have an illegal copy, buy a real copy.

close all other programs down before using it.

Flash 8 works perfectly for me always, but flash cs4 crashes almost every time i forget and leave photoshop open.

either you have the editing in the wrong...format...i dont know what to call it but you can set it up to your video in project settings.

or maybe your computer cant handle it? i remember on my old one computer when i first started getting into editing if i did anything to fast it would just freeze up.

What type of computer do you have? Premiere 7 is six years old, and my guess is that it is having major incompatibility issues with a newer computer.
