the us and britain aren't the only countries with balls, they're the countries that feel the most threatened by terrorism. and if somebody wanted to leave the us for a less right wing, gun toting country, all they would have do is head north to canada.

also, on a somewhat related matter, the states have taken canada for granted for too long. first, they forget to thank canada after harbouring planes in newfoundland and helping out in numerous other ways after sep 11, and then bush takes his sweet ass time in apologizing for bombing canadian troops in afghanistan - then once he finally does, it's an unscripted, inpromptu speech in which he's constantly grasping for words. what a great friend the united states have proved to be.
