I would just like to know how they are and are they soft or what. i'm looking into getting the reno jibs next year and just wanted to know if i should. thanks
They're really god damned fun, but my buddy's blew up, no, they literally snapped off at the tail after 1/2 a season of skiing.
If you pay a little more for the renos you get the fun AND the reliability which I think is what they're trying to accomplish by giving people a taste with the jibs.
You get someone to buy a ski that they really enjoy and are bound to break, you can get them to buy another pair, kinda like hooking someone on cigarettes
i have the reno jibs (they have cassette tapes all over them) with jester bindings. they work great in park, a little stiffer than a lot of park skis i have ridden and a little thin for powder but they work out good.
