Breaking the ball of your foot?

So I landed on my foot last night in a really weird way, and I heard a bunch of cracking. You know say when you're just walking along and you dont pick your foot up enough and like step on all your toes and stuff? That happened, but I was jumping onto them.

Anyways, this has happened before but I can't remember it being this bad. Only the ball of my foot hurts when I walk on it, but the pain is definitely worse than yesterday. Also, I've got a very small bruise, and no swelling.

Has this happened to anyone before? I've never heard of people breaking the ball of their foot.




Also, please don't say "GO TO THE DOCTORS LOL", I don't have enough money to pay for the bill (even when I have health insurance) so I'm trying to avoid that for right now. Fuck this countries health insurance.

The same thing happeneed to me about two months ago, and for my case I couldn't walk normal for almost a month. It took a long time to heal, but it was prob because I was skiing on it just not hitting any jumps. My advice is to put some stuff in the bottom of your boot like a heal pad or something to help out. I'm still not sure if my foot was/is broken but it wouldn't surprise me if it was. It happened in mid Feb. and my foot is still hurting a good amount. Pretty shitty but atleast it happened at the end of the season.

It could be a chipped bone.. in which case you cant really do anything but wait it out

it could also be bruised but cracking could suggest otherwise

just take it easy for awhile. Unless you've severely broken your foot, which you would know if it was badly broken, they won't really do anything except tell you to stay off of it and let it heal. Save yourself the bucks and just stay off of it and let it heal.

STRESS FRACTURE. I hope you didn't do what i did. That stupid stress fracture has yet to fully heal. I hurt it 3 years ago and i comes back again and again
