Many companies have international trade restrictions prohibiting retailers from shipping their products outside of Nth America
Examples include K2, Line, Oakley, Burton, and about 20 others.
So it will be difficult to get Line skis shipped over to the UK
Secondly, when dealing with shipping costs, the length restrictions of the USPS doesn't allow items over around 140cm, which rules out a pair of skis. Some people have reported that they have managed to get away with it, but whenever I've shipped hardware to Australia from the US, i've always had to use a courier company like Fedex, UPS, DHL etc - which severely jacks up the price.
I'm unsure of the pound to the USD at the moment, but with the AUS$ where it is, there isn't much point in shipping gear over here, it works out to be almost the same.
Look into sierraski/sierrasnowboard, or backcountry.com and their affilliates - both are reliable as far as international shipping goes.
Cheers

Al's Ski Barn (
http://wwww.untracked.com ) has decently priced international shipping. Really reliable and quick too. Highly recommended.
All times are Eastern (-5)
