I was just wondering if there were mac specific trojans out there, or if MS trojans could affect Macs as well and if so what anti-virus programs do you guys use for your macs?
Trojan dosent effect macs.
From the last time i have herd.. there has never been a successfully spread virus for MACs in general.... i could be wrong.. But I am pretty sure.
No offense to mac users, but because 95% of the world uses Linux or Windows, no one gives a fuck about mac, to put it bluntly. No companies with useful info are based on mac, so why run a virus on mac? We're gonna start seeing viruses soon for mac, so just sit back and watch.
Be careful while on the internet boys and girls. Some company out of Tampa Florida says I agreed to pay them $4,000 for credit protection. I have never heard of this company. So as of today, I am $4,000 more poor. SUCKS! I will get it back, jsut have to wait for the bank to do its thing.
Ya thx guys, cuz i do know that there has been a virus created for macs just to prove that it could be done but i was just trying to find out it Windows trojans were compatible over to macs and could fuck me up.
there are no trojans for Macs yet.
i know of 7 different viruses for Mac, as opposed to about 600+ for PC.
the more people that use Mac, the more viruses will start being created. but, in all fairness, the targets most hackers and attackers choose are big businesses, high-ranking people, government systems, etc. it is extremely unlikely that most of those targets will ever switch to Mac, therefore most Mac users don't have much to worry about. Mac users don't matter, therefore the community doesn't care about them.
you can deff get things that could make a mac crash or run slower, but as others stated, its very unlikely as hackers are typically targeting large business or important people, or even a large amount of people, most of which arent using macs
Rick Rolling was funny the first time it happened 5 years ago. Now it's just fucking stupid. If I was a mod I would ban everyone who does it for a month, no questions asked.
