Critique my editing +karma

hey, i was wondering if you guys could critique my editing


Made a tiny edit, we didnt get any to good footy. So I just messed around. Also I like to keep the edits as "clean" as possible, and not overdoing special effects etc..

could use better transitions
too many time lapses
good mix of fisheye and reg shots
you could try changing shots in sync with the beats of the music, that way it would flow nicer

You used a lot of filler, the more banger ski shots the better. Also, like ja. said, flow more to the music, use shots you think go well with certain parts of the song.

try and film things that are a little more interesting. mor instance if you are filming a box... get a cool angle or get in the woods and get some DOF goin. your colors and fisheye are pretty solid man, whats your set-up?

thanks, Im using a raynox 0,3fisheye hd lens. Camera: sony hdr-hc9, and im using sony vegas for editing.. I tryed to give you karma, but looks like Ive allready given you 10/10 =)

your mountain looks ghetto. somebody already said this, but you should definitely use a few different angles. maybe invest in a helmetcam, film a trick from under the jump, etc. also, use fewer time lapses, maybe lifestyle shots instead of those sometimes

the transistions didnt flow to well like already said.

and i just hate fisheye lenses so that kinda turned it off a bit for me. some cool timelapses though overall not bad

Well haha, I guess I am more of a still photography critique-r.

I thought it was dope though. The video quality was top notch, I would work a little more on some angles like some kids have said but over all I really enjoyed it.

Sick dude! i liked the SHOTS but the editing could be synced to the music better, other than that super sick

OP, you held onto some of the ski shots a little too long, especially a couple shots where you can't see the landings. Other than that it wasn't too bad, a little repetitive with the filler but still enjoyable.

so its been said a few times so far but sync it with the music, i like auto focus for intros but it seemed to be a little over done throughout the edits

sick edit maybe slow down the shots of the rails and make it a little more flowy but other then that its sick! the switch backflip was ill!

this guys completely right just try to get some more interesting shots with some good camera angles mabey have the camera moving a little more otherwise it was good

cool.  way too many lift/t-bar/platter shots.  you say you like to keep your videos clean yet you still used effects? not that they're not cool i just find it funny.  anyhow, good overall,
